Haley Reinhart gained the national attention as a finalist for American Idol during the show’s tenth season. But she didn’t take the normal route, swerving instead into some viral videos and appearances with Postmodern Jukebox, for which she was a perfect fit.

October 10th was the second night of her tour which was to go nationwide for an entire month. The show opened with Tyler Hilton who has gained some notoriety as an actor including his stint on the CW’s One Tree Hill, and portraying the King of Rock and Roll himself, Elvis Presley in the biopic Walk the Line. Hilton has been a well known singer songwriter for nearly twenty years and on this night his opening set lasted around thirty minutes and featured him playing acoustic guitar and singing. Fans were treated to autographs and pictures with him during the set break and after the show, too.

Haley Reinhart took the stage for a ninety minute set that featured both her original material and also the covers for which she had become known whether with Idol or Postmodern Jukebox. She’s been working with this band for a couple of years now and it showed. Guitar:  Anders Grahn, Piano-keyboard:  David Grosope, Drums: Jose Perez, Bass: Zephry Adee and Guitar: Balam Garcia.

In addition to her vocal strength which everyone knows, she also appeared to be having a great time. She has a real sense of fun in her shows. In addition to the full show, she also did a quick show before the doors were open as a meet and greet for fans. She chatted with fans, posed for pictures, and the whole band took the stage for two songs during that early show that were not on the set list later that night, providing a real treat to those who went the extra mile for that early show.
