    Global superstars

The Mystic Showroom is undoubtedly the key concert venue at the Mystic Lake, designed to ensure that everyone gets to enjoy the best possible experience. The location features quality acoustics, great views and extra wide seats for plenty of comfort. In fact, the standard of the resort as a whole is demonstrated by the talent that it has been able to attract.

The likes of dance duo the Chainsmokers, Blink 182 and No Doubt legend Gwen Stefani have appeared at locations across the resort in recent years, while Michael McDonald and Chaka Khan are sure to draw big audiences when the Grammy award-winning artists co-headline an impressive bill at the Showroom in early July 2019.

Speaking of big names, you do not get much bigger in the music industry than a Beatle, and Ringo Starr himself is heading to the Showroom on Thursday, August 22 with his All-Star Band. Soul legend Gladys Knight is also at the venue in the same month, while those looking for something a little louder could always grab themselves a ticket to see Slash. The guitarist famed for his work with Guns N’ Roses has just enjoyed a hugely lucrative run of shows with his old bandmates but is now set to tour with Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators on the Living The Dream tour later this year.

    More than just music

The size of Mystic Lake means there is always something going on across the resort, hosting its fair share of free live music, too. Rising country star Ben Rue is among those who will be gracing the Lobby Lounge Stage in the coming months, while visitors may want to watch out for the covers of Acoustic Gary who often can be seen on the DrinX stage.

However, there is much more than just music to look forward to at Mystic Lake. Being a casino, there are of course a host of gaming options that visitors can choose from, although one of the most interesting is undoubtedly Cosmic Blackjack. The classic card game has enjoyed a new lease of life in recent years, with online versions at sites like Betway casino giving people a whole new way of experiencing the thrills it can offer, in the form of plenty of different variants of the game as well as live casino tables. Well, the same can be said of Cosmic Blackjack, with the parties turning the music up and offering a range of different prizes to provide a new twist on the game.

Finally, regular readers of the site will know we love a good festival and Mystic Lake again caters for that vibe in a number of different ways. The site will be celebrating July 4th this year with a Rock and Rockets outdoor event featuring music, fireworks and much more. In addition, meat lovers will simply not want to miss the Great Midwest Rib Fest. Another outdoor event, it features three days of food and music, culminating in the World Rib Eating Championship with challengers trying to each as much as they can in a set amount of time. Now, who would want to miss that?

    So much to offer

Mystic Lake may arguably have a major reputation as a casino resort but, as all of the above outlines, it has undoubtedly evolved and expanded to offer so much more in recent years.

Legends from the world of rock, pop and soul are all set to grace the stage of the Showroom in the coming months, but there is plenty of other entertainment to look forward to as well. From rising stars to a different take on casino classics and even exciting food festival fun, it is fair to say that Mystic Lake truly is getting to the point where it offers something for everyone.
