High Hopes Music & Arts Festival set for Saturday, August 3 2019 with a new location and a new vibe.

Springfield, MA (April, 2019) – Paddle Out Productions is partnering with MGM Springfield to bring a day of music, food, and arts to The Plaza at MGM Springfield on August 3rd. The spectacular outdoor venue behind the historic Armory at MGM will be the site for this year’s High Hopes Music and Arts Festival. Renowned Queen Tribute, Almost Queen, will be headlining the bill and will be joined by Roots of Creation’s, Grateful Dub, a Reggae-infused tribute to the Grateful Dead, The EAGLES Experience, and local act, Atlas Grey.

When choosing bands for the event, the founders of High Hopes felt it was important to feature an eclectic mix of diverse musical acts with some of the area’s great local music talent.

“We felt the wide appeal and familiarity of Queen mixed well with the variety of the other acts,” says Paddle Out co-founder, Ryan Burhans. “Our goal is to bring something to the community that people look forward to year after year. Partnering with MGM Springfield creates the opportunity to build something unique as we grow in their new
venue.”

This is High Hopes 2nd Annual event and first time in the new location. “The Plaza, the perfect summer venue for entertainment, and we are excited to put our stamp on it,” said Paddle Out’s Event Manager, Josh Kelleher. “We’re very passionate about creating events and experiences that represent our love of live music. We’re thrilled to be partnered with a company like MGM Springfield who share the same
enthusiasm.”

The festival will be taking place Saturday, August 3rd. Gates open at 4pm, and tickets are currently on sale and at the m Life & Cashier desk at MGM Springfield or online at www.highhopesmusicandarts.com or ticketmaster.com
