Golden Gate Wingmen is the brainchild of John Kadlecik, best known as a founding member of Dark Star Orchestra and lead guitar player for Furthur, Phil Lesh and Friends, and leader of his own outfits, John K. It is wholly appropriate that the first show is at the mecca of improvisational bohemian music just north of San Francisco. John Kadlecik is celebrating the release of his new album Liquid Silver Live and the original material it contains with a solo acoustic tour starting this week in the western states. Furthur (sic) into the fall he will be hosting holiday shows in the Washington DC area with both of his current lineups, the DC Mystery Cats and the John K. Band.
