The massive event attracted 475,000 fans over two extended weekends – April 23-26 and April 29-May 3. For eight days, over 600 bands performed on 14 stages covering all genres of music including rock, blues, jazz, soul, funk, cajun, zydeco, reggae, hip hop and gospel. Local artists from New Orleans and regional Louisiana plus big acts from all over the United States and other nations played at the festival.
