Kofi Baker, son of legendary rock’n’roll drummer Ginger Baker, hits the road again with his new touring outfit Kofi Baker’s Cream Faith. After successful runs in the Northeast earlier this year, the trio- paying homage to the elder Baker’s bands Cream and Blind Faith- set out last week on the West Coast and will continue onto Colorado this week, ending in Wisconsin on Saturday 10/14.
This time around, Baker is joined by his longtime bandmate, bassist Kris Lohn. His talent on the bass is beaten only by the enthusiasm with which he plays, as is evident on his face during a performance. His guitarist and vocalist is Scott Tipping.
Fans can expect a perfect mixture of Cream and Blind Faith throughout the show, with a little of the flair that each of these individuals brings to the music. Below is a video from last week’s show in Phoenix, AZ.
