Everyone’s new favorite festival returns to the Cheshire Fairgrounds in Swanzey, NH with a third day for the first time in its history.

Northlands Music & Art Festival, the renowned music event now in its fourth year, is set to take place from June 13-15, 2025 in Swanzey, NH. The festival, called “a breath of fresh air in this current musical landscape” by Rolling Stone magazine, features headlining performances from beloved bluegrass ensemble The String Cheese Incident, guitarist Cory Wong (of Vulfpeck, Stay Human, Fearless Flyers, and others), as well as pioneering jambands Umphrey’s McGee and moe.

This year’s absolutely stacked lineup also includes a number of other legendary acts, with stagings from genre-spanning performers and ensembles like Lettuce, Lotus, Daniel Donato, and Soulive. Over the three-day extravaganza, Andy Frasco & The U.N., lespecial, Dirtwire, Neighbor, Sneezy, and Super Sonic Shorties–an all-female collective comprised of Holly Bowling, Kanika Moore, and Karina Rykman–will perform on several different stages throughout the grounds.
“Fans told us they had an amazing experience this year, which is our main focus, and hearing that is awesome for a third year independent festival,” explained Northlands co-founder Seth McNally, elaborating on this year’s expansion. “Now felt like the perfect time to add a third day full of music and magic.”
Festival-goers have sold out camping spaces at time of publication, but single-day as well as 3-day festival tickets, shuttle passes, VIP upgrades, and glamping options are still available. A reminder that the camping stage is for camping pass-holders and VIP pass-holders only.
Pro tip: save the schedule images in your phone and add it to your “favorites” album so you can access it even if you lose service at the festival!
A heartening part of Northlands is that the festival organizers have committed to sustainability when planning out this weekend. According to their website, “Northlands recognizes the imprint that music festivals have on our environment and the importance of green initiatives to reduce that impact.” Read HERE for more info on how they have and are continuously working towards a less harmful footprint on our planet, including banning Styrofoam on the festival grounds, planting trees in the White Mountains National Forest, and more.
As for food and beverage offerings, Northlands hosts an eclectic and diverse mix of vendors, choosing those that use the highest-quality ingredients and that support the organizers in their greening initiatives. One can count on a wide variety of offerings for every palate along with multiple concessions stands offering craft cocktails, micro brews, and more. Outside food and drink is not allowed inside the festival grounds but the organizers welcome empty water bottles and hydration packs as there will be ample water refilling stations around the grounds. There will also be a commemorative reusable cup (with a handy carabiner for transport) made entirely out of recycled materials for purchase at vendor stands.
As for the little ones among us, Northlands is all about family and the organizers want to make sure that the kiddos are having just as much fun as their grownups. Northlands’ kids tent is an interactive space dedicated to creativity & expression located inside the concert field, with a variety of activities happening each day as well as special performances throughout the weekend.

Thankfully, Northlands has a whole Wellness Tent set up in the campground area, “where breath, movement and mindfulness come together.” Their classes are led by healers and facilitators who care deeply about creating grounding, joyful experiences. Concertgoers are encouraged to reconnect, play, immerse in a sound bath with no experience needed.
