I had the incredible opportunity to witness his mesmerizing performance at the legendary Chan’s in Woonsocket, Rhode Island on Friday, July 14th. From there, he embarked on a journey to the renowned North Atlantic Blues Festival in Rockland, Maine before gracing us with his presence at an intimate show at the historic Norwich Arts Center in rain-soaked Connecticut.
What hugely impressed me about Selwyn Birchwood is his dedication to his craft. Despite the long trek and unpredictable weather conditions, he delivered an intimate and unforgettable show at the historic Norwich Arts Center in Connecticut. His ability to connect with the audience on such a personal level left an impression on both the fans and the ghosts.
Selwyn Birchwood is an absolute force to be reckoned with in the world of blues music. His album, Exorcist, has rightfully claimed the number one spot on the Billboard Blues Charts. Birchwood’s unparalleled talent and passion for his craft shine through every note he plays. With his Gibson guitars and a record label like Alligator Records backing him up, it is no wonder he continues to blaze new trails in the blues game.
