Swift Technique, Philadelphia’s multi-faceted musical collective, will ring in 2022 at the Sellersville Theater in Sellersville, PA on Friday, December 31st. They will be joined by Philly-based artists Lady Alma, famed songstress who is no stranger to collaborating with Swift Tech, and multi-talented multiinstrumentalist and singer Christine Elise & vocalist Kuf Knotz. The band’s unique hybrid blend of funk, soul, rock, hip-hop and relentless showmanship has propelled the group into its most successful period to date (a global pandemic notwithstanding). With potent, dynamic horn lines, thunderous bass and drums, driving guitar and keys, and more dance moves than you can shake a booty at, Swift Tech’s live performances are unmatched in energy, musicianship and pure feel-good fun.

Now, having steadily toured, performed and recorded all over the country since forming in 2007, Swift Technique, after releasing a couple of EPs and a few strong singles, finally released their debut full-length album, the mysteriously titled Martian Farm in early 2020. The album represents a milestone for the band, which has undergone a continual evolution in its live performances, songwriting abilities and communal approach to music. While the COVID-19 pandemic has shuttered many live music opportunities, this New Year’s Eve show represents a step towards normalcy for Swift Tech.

International singer and songwriter Lady Alma is bringing her soaring, searing vocals back to eager audiences who desire her incomparable funk-house-soul stylings. From her dynamic live shows that left critics and fans alike breathless across the globe for two decades, to the recent revival of her hit single produced by The Rainmakers entitled “Let It Fall”, Lady Alma continues to be a widely praised source of true sonic satisfaction since her introduction.

Christine Elise is a classically trained harpist, pianist, and vocalist who has been consecutively touring across North America for the past two years. Christine’s collaboration with Kuf Knotz has led her to open for acts such as Wyclef Jean, Yellowman, Raging Fyah, Slick Rick, and G. Love. Her mission is to use the power of music and her empathetic counseling competencies to help others grow to meet their fullest potential.

Known for his ability to fuse genres such as hip-hop, reggae, classical, soul, & jazz, Kuf Knotz is one of today’s fastest emerging alternative artists. His career has led him to open for a diverse number of acts: Ms Lauryn Hill, The Roots, Common, G-love, Wyclef Jean, Slick Rick, The Wailers, Robert Randolph, Steel Pulse, Arrested Development, Robert Glasper, Inspectah Deck, Rising Appalachia, Zac Deputy, Josh Ritter, B.O.B, Bone Thugs & Harmony, Kabaka Pyramid, Yellowman , Soulive , Easy Star Allstars, Ozomatli and Bruce Springsteen
