Nelson Ledges Quarry Park to host 1st Annual Funk N’ Flow Music Festival in Garrettsville OH from July 12th-14th
Nelson Ledges Quarry Park, eastern Ohio’s premier vacation destination, is proud to debut the first annual Funk N’ Flow Music Festival, a festival devoted to all things that make you groove. The three-day festival begins on Friday, July 12th and runs till Sunday the 14th. The headliners for Funk N’ Flow are electro/funk/jam band Spafford and funk/soul/hip-hop outfit Lettuce, with great supporting acts like Tropidelic and Orgone. The team at Nelson Ledges is pleased to offer dozens of amenities at the park, including hiking, biking, camping, swimming, cliff diving, sunbathing, sand volleyball, full-court basketball, every type of food vending, free workshops, and more.

Hailing from Boston, Massachusetts, US, Lettuce are an eight piece jam/funk band that blend an eclectic array of influences, from modern hip hop sensibilities to Herbie Hancock and Earth Wind and Fire’s disco funk, to create their energetic, grooving vibes.

Spafford is an eclectic blend of driving rock, funk, dance and light. The result is something like Electro-Funk Therapy. Phasing through varying vocal and instrumental melodies with enough groove to keep the dance floor jumping, Spafford is paving the way for something new yet familiar that beckons to be seen, heard and felt.

The scenic Nelson Ledges Quarry Park is a great place to camp, swim, hike, sunbathe, attend music festivals, or just plain hang out.
