The team at Nelson Ledges is pleased to offer dozens of amenities at the park, including hiking, biking, camping, swimming, cliff diving, sunbathing, sand volleyball, full-court basketball, every type of food vending, free workshops, and more.
SCHEDULE OF MUSIC:
FRIDAY, JULY 12TH
• Dead Phish Funk- Featuring James Casey Of Trey Band & Joe Marcinek
SATURDAY, JULY 13TH
• Late night session TBA
Hailing from Boston, Massachusetts, US, Lettuce are an eight piece jam/funk band that blend an eclectic array of influences, from modern hip hop sensibilities to Herbie Hancock and Earth Wind and Fire’s disco funk, to create their energetic, grooving vibes.
Spafford is an eclectic blend of driving rock, funk, dance and light. The result is something like Electro-Funk Therapy. Phasing through varying vocal and instrumental melodies with enough groove to keep the dance floor jumping, Spafford is paving the way for something new yet familiar that beckons to be seen, heard and felt.
The scenic Nelson Ledges Quarry Park is a great place to camp, swim, hike, sunbathe, attend music festivals, or just plain hang out. The park is a beautiful landscape made up of 250 acres of forest, meadows, streams, rock ledges, fishing lakes, and of course the quarry itself. There are also more than 400 campsites, some deep in the woods, some along the Quarry, and others in secluded meadows. Nelson Ledges is an ideal venue for weekend-long music festivals and is rolling through its 2019 season with gusto.
