Meghan Trainor Announces New Single ‘Lips Are Movin’ And Debut Album ‘Title’ Out January 26th 2015
Following her global super-smash hit single ‘All About That Bass’, Meghan Trainor has announced the UK release of her debut album ‘Title’, due on January 26ththrough Epic Records. The 11-track album features the biggest pop single of 2014, ‘All About That Bass’, and also Meghan Trainor’s brand new single ‘Lips Are Movin’, due for release on January 19th.
With an unmistakable sound, ‘Lips Are Movin’ is another tasty slice of Trainor’s unique contemporary take on doo-wop influenced pop. While the song may be caked in Trainor’s sunny feel-good sentiment, the underlying theme is once again close to many a girl’s heart – calling out promiscuous, unfaithful men as she sings, “You can buy me diamond earrings and deny-ny-ny / But I smell her on your collar so goodbye bye-bye-bye / I know you’re lying cause your lips are movin’ / tell me do you think I’m dumb?”
Meghan Trainor has enlisted the help of some of the internet’s must influential social curators from YouTube and Vine – including Camila Coutino, the Les Twins and Barkley The Pom – to deliver yet another piece of pastel perfection for the ‘Lips Are Movin’ video, which is set to once again take the internet completely by storm.
Meghan was born and raised on the island of Nantucket in Massachusetts and went to High School on Cape Cod. After attending many music festivals throughout the country, Meghan was discovered by Big Yellow Dog Music at the Durango Songwriting Expo in Colorado at the age of 17 and signed her contract as soon as she turned 18. She has been traveling all over the country writing with top writers and producers ever since.
