Cool Cool Cool have had quite the band birth, spending the majority of 2023 touring with legends Adrian Belew and Jerry Harrison as a part of the Remain in Light tour. In between tour dates with those iconic rock and rollers, the band has been touring on their own, including a run with Andy Frasco and their own tour dates all over the US. The band ended the year with some west coast tour dates and have just announced 2024 tour dates.

LMNR photographer and reporter Andy J. Gordon reports this about his opportunity to see them in California at the end of the year:

Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew’s “Remain in Light” tour wrapped up 2023 with a few shows in California. Their Anaheim, CA stop took place at the City National Grove on December 29. The Talking Heads celebration concert included most of the iconic “Remain in Light” album, some of their other popular tracks from that era and solo material by Harrison and Belew. The members of Cool Cool Cool plus bassist Julie Slick and percussionist Yahuba Garcia-Torres rounded out the superb band. A surprise sit-in took place near the middle of the show as Tool drummer Danny Carey, an old friend of Adrian Belew, sat in on King Crimson’s “Thela Hun Ginjeet.”

And now the band announces the Never Noticed Tour to get started in February in Florida.

“We’re hitting the road! After an incredible year in 2023, we are recharged, invigorated, and ready to show you what we’ve been cooking up. Brand new songs, crisp looks, and huge sounds- come on out to celebrate and dance with us!” – Cool Cool Cool

“We are thrilled about our very first headlining tour, and so excited to share our original music with all of our friends, fans and family in all of these cities and venues we love. It feels awesome and I’m so proud of us and what we’ve created together.” – Sammi Garett

“This tour is special for us. Over the years we’ve all put our hearts, countless hours, and full dedication into our crafts. Coming together as a band to be creative and adventurous has been an amazing experience. All of the cities on this run are locations we love, places we have made friends and fans, and honestly, it feels like a coming home tour in many ways. From Turkuaz shows, solo projects, sit ins, and now Cool Cool Cool, these are venues I know we all can’t wait to reconnect with, and build new families from.” – Greg Sanderson

Cool Cool Cool announces their first-ever headlining run, Never Noticed Tour, on January 8th 2024. The band (ft. former members of Turkuaz) will take their show from the tip of Florida across the Atlantic Ocean, then up the East Coast to many familiar stops, and continue on in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Building off the success of their debut single “Never Noticed,” Cool Cool Cool is bursting at the seams to bring their show to fans both new and old. The set will include new and original Cool Cool Cool material, songs from individual members’ solo projects, the band’s favorite hard-hitting covers, and of course many more surprises!

Cool Cool Cool blends the best of Funk, House and R&B to create a sound that is truly unique. With dynamic female-led vocals, a tight horn section, swirling synths and a rhythm section that lays down a wicked groove, this band knows how to deliver an electrifying performance. When you see Cool Cool Cool in person, you’ll be swept up by the energy of their music and unforgettable live show. After spending more than a decade traveling the world together with the touring act Turkuaz, the members of Cool Cool Cool decided to team up and form their own band in 2022. Their shared experiences, from playing dive bars to international festival stages, helped them develop a close bond that goes far beyond music. In Cool Cool Cool, this bond translates into a powerful synergy that allows each band member to showcase their individual talents, creativity, and passion.
