The Range (Marty’s Driving Range) is proud to announce they will host their first two-night live music event – Granite Meltdown – to open the 2022 summer concert series on June 3rd and 4th at their revamped outdoor venue.

Ten bands will perform at the Granite Meltdown, featuring headliners Kung Fu (CT) on Friday night and The Ghost of Paul Revere (ME) on Saturday night. For a non-stop music experience, there will be two stages during Granite Meltdown, an event curated by Cooper Leafe, owner of Upstream Sound & More.

Granite Meltdown will also be the official beer release party for The Range Hoppy Lager brewed by 603 Brewery. Nicole Ruggiero, owner of The Range, worked with 603 Brewery to create the recipe for the craft beer. The Range Hoppy Lager is part of Positive Legacy’s “Pours for Positive” which is a charitable initiative that streamlines non-profit engagement and community outreach for venues, breweries and craft beverage companies with a goal to make it easy, effective, and fun for businesses and their customers to support the causes that matter most to them and their community. The benefactor for this non-profit engagement is The National Alliance on Mental Illness of Massachusetts (NAMI Mass). One dollar per can of The Range Hoppy Lager will go towards lifting the voice of mental health in Massachusetts.

NAMI was chosen as The Range Hoppy Lager benefactor in loving memory of Ruggiero’s dear friend I lost back in 2020, Caryl Leeds. “NAMI was able to help Caryl through some difficult times, and in turn, she was able to use her experience at the facility to pay it forward to help others as a group facilitator,” said Ruggiero. “We are all impacted by mental illness in one way or another. For me, personally, I have a brother with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, and we are honored to raise awareness and funds for this organization.”

Along with a The Range Hoppy Lager, the venue also serves a wide selection of other beers, hard selters and ciders, wine, and pre-mixed cocktails from several locations on site. The Range also has the area’s only tiki bar and “container” lounge. The Range is proud to share their extended menu this year with onsite BBQ, concert view food truck, vegetarian selections, and special sandwiches, burgers, and wraps. Their famous fried seafood, chicken, hand cut fries, and ice cream scoops and sundaes will also be available. There is something for everyone to enjoy!

Unique to The Range is also the local vendors that will be set up at the event, including handmade tie-dye, blown glass, and other artistic offerings. Official The Range merchandise will also be available.

Purchase two-day and single day tickets at therangemason.com/concert-series. Gates open at 5pm both show days and live music will start promptly. Free onsite parking is provided to all ticket holders. There is no re-entry. Please leave your pets, illicit drugs, weapons, and outside food and alcohol at home.
