Psych-soul quartet, Chicano Batman, is elated to announce a spring tour starting in northern California, then jumping to the east coast for a run taking the LA outfit from Florida to Baltimore. The dates follow a performance at M3F Festival along w/ Kurt Vile, Jungle and Empire of the Sun. Tickets go on sale Friday, February 8 at 12pm EST at http://chicanobatman.com, and a full list of tour dates can be found below.

Chicano Batman released Freedom Is Free via ATO Records, and the album not only foregrounds the soul and R&B elements of the band’s sound, but also speaks volumes during the political climate of this time.

Chicano Batman’s powerful video for Freedom Is Free is a compelling statement of the band’s frustrations in a world of oppression and debuted at NPR.

The band recently collaborated with Miguel on their smash “Black Lipstick,” and is working on the follow-up to their ATO Records debut, set for release later this year.
