Last year’s festival recap by Waterfall Hunter https://youtu.be/Izsn8GDjhR4?t=13 Coming into its fifth year, Wild Woods Music and Arts Festival in Croydon, NH has really started carving out its own place in the festival circuit. While it continues to grow and develop, as all festivals do, one thing has always remained the same-it’s unwavering commitment to it’s attendees and overall protection of our beloved Mother Earth. I attended Wild Woods for the first time last year and was bowled over by the sheer beauty of the venue and the way the staff presented themselves. Friendly, courteous, informative-they are all the above. And the way they are able to keep such a clean, crisp landscape is no doubt praise-worthy. The stages are always a site to behold-works of art all in themselves. Located on the lush, verdant fields of Page Farm, Wild Woods takes place on Aug. 10 and 11, and will play host to close to 50 musical acts including LOTUS, Emancipator Ensemble, Pink Talking Fish, lespecial, Octave Cat ft. Jesse Miller (LOTUS), Eli Winderman (Dopapod), and Charlie Paterno, amongst many others. Live painting from the Reliquarium, TJ Spurge, Colette Aimee and flow performances by the Wild Woods Flow Troupe. Early entry will be granted at 4pm on Thursday to those holding early entry tickets. For the rest of us, gates open at 10am on Friday. Music starts at 1pm And, weather permitting, don’t forget to turn your heads skyward when the sun goes down. We will be blessed, yet again, with the Perseid meteor shower. While the peak of the shower will be on Sunday night into early Monday morning, you’ll be able to catch a glimpse of the action on the nights leading up to finale. So, if you’re still debating on attending, debate no more! Pull the trigger and purchase tickets, there will be no disappointment. The temperatures look to be near perfect and the music will surely set your soul ablaze. Tickets are available at www.wildwoodsfest.com. 2017 from David Sheehan https://youtu.be/eE_LKfff7ME?t=5 To submit a review for consideration hit us at [email protected] Check out the Live Music News and Review.com Facebook page for updates and announcements.
