Canada, the United States, Europe, and Australia, and played numerous festivals from Oshega to Austin City Limits. Their second album’s first single “Push+Pull” held the #1 spot on the Canadian alternative radio charts for 12 weeks.

Fueled by their passion to explore beyond the edges of traditional musical boundaries and their diverse ethnic and musical backgrounds, the Alchemystics blend reggae, politically infused hip-hop, gritty soul, hard-driving rock, and pulsing Jamaican, Cuban and Trinidadian rhythms into an utterly unique and distinctively original new sound. This is the band’s debut performance at MOVE.

17-year-old singer-songwriter Sawyer Fredericks, hailing from his family’s farm in central New York State, will join the festival lineup as well. Fast establishing himself as an authentic original, Americana artist with an old soul, his deep, beyond-his-years lyrics and melodies, raw, soulful vocals, and powerful live performances have attracted an ever-growing number of devoted fans of all ages, selling out shows throughout the US.

This year, a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Albany Medical Center’s construction of its new Pediatric Emergency Department.
