Get ready to kick off summer in high gear as the beloved DelFest bluegrass festival makes its annual return to the picturesque Cumberland, MD fairgrounds over Memorial Day weekend from May 24-27, 2024. This family-friendly bluegrass festival promises four days jam-packed with artists from the genre’s past, present, and future.

Headlining the festivities this year are quintessential Americana act Old Crow Medicine Show, jamgrass pioneers Greensky Bluegrass, the lively explorations of Leftover Salmon, country music legend Marty Stuart, and the ever-evolving string wizardry of Yonder Mountain String Band. Of course, no DelFest would be complete without appearances from the festival’s namesake hosts – bluegrass icon Del McCoury and The Travelin’ McCourys – Del-Yeah!!!

In addition to the better-known headliners, the 2024 lineup is stacked with rising stars and fan favorites. Fresh off a national television debut on CBS Saturday Sessions, red-hot newgrass act Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country is sure to showcase their wild and innovative sounds. Both Sierra Ferrell and Dre Anders represent the new vanguard of bluegrass-influenced Americana artists. And beloved local bands like The Dirty Grass Players will keep the multi-generational crowds dancing all weekend long.

As always, DelFest offers an unbeatable outdoor festival experience filled with beautiful camping areas, hot showers, a slew of craft and food vendors,  and so much more. Kids under 5 receive free admission, and kids aged 5-12 get discounted tickets, making it an ideal event for families to gather and create lasting memories.
