“The Zealot Gene” by Jethro Tull
With their first album in 17 years, the founding fathers of British progressive rock are back. In September 2003, the group’s prior album was made available. After that, Ian Anderson made the decision to continue working with band members while also releasing new music under his own name. But this is all changing as Anderson prepares to release a new album under the Jethro Tull title, “The Zealot Gene.” A comprehensive collection of Anderson’s lyrics to the band’s songs, including verses for the upcoming album’s songs in advance, was released as the book “Silent Singing” in June 2021.

“Rock Believer” by the Scorpions
The German heavy and hard rock legends delivered a new album to their fans for the first time in seven years, Rock Believer. It’s encouraging that the disc was created without the assistance of other songwriters, unlike its predecessor. Klaus Meine’s voice is still powerful and seems impervious to aging.

“War To End All Wars” by Sabaton
World War I is the focus of Swedish power metal band Sabaton’s second album, which is devoted to military history. In the album’s lead single, “Christmas Truce,” troops from opposing armies agreed to temporarily lay down their arms on Christmas Eve and join one another to rejoice. “Christmas Truce” episodes take place on the western front and depict a true story where, on Christmas Eve, in particular areas of the front, men from opposing armies put their weapons on hold temporarily and went to socialize and rejoice as a group. The conflicts between the Austrian and Italian forces in the Alps are the subject of the second single, “Soldier of Heaven,” which describes the sad story of so many soldiers who froze to death in the Alps.

“Completion/Continued” by Porcupine Tree
There was also a second unexpected reappearance, in which many people waited but few imagined it would happen. The British Porcupine Tree, one of the most important modern progressive rock bands, announced the release of their first album in 13 years. The band was significantly responsible for determining the direction of the genre’s evolution in the 1990s and 2000s. Without accounting for a sizable number of side projects and collaborations, Wilson has recorded five solo LPs in just these past ten years. The fact that Wilson would revive his most well-known band’s longplay for the first time after such a long time makes this new release all the more intriguing.

“The Sick, the Dying, and the Dead” by Megadeth
While Dave Mustaine has been keeping us updated on the new Megadeth album for the past year and a half, the band nonetheless managed to land themselves in the middle of a sex controversy, with David Ellefson being the major offender. The Network received access to private films and revealing emails between the bassist and a 19-year-old devotee. Mustaine made the decision to bid farewell to his longtime associate and group co-founder. But this disagreement between the two Daves is not new. And the cause may have have nothing to do with the sex scandal at all, but rather with the musicians’ recent accumulation of inconsistencies. It is still unclear who re-recorded Ellefson’s parts for the album. The phrase “the sick, the dying, and the dead” in the album’s title suggests that Mustaine used the album to express his feelings on his struggle with throat cancer, which he was diagnosed with early 2019.

Even if Till Lindemann and the company may not fit many radio station’s broadcast format, but that doesn’t make them less legendary. The band’s eighth full-length album will be released prior to the beginning of their tour, according to guitar player Richard Kruspe. The primary themes of the impending record, according to keyboardist Christian “Flake” Lorenz, are “stupidity, narrowness, and stubbornness.”
