Green River Fest 2025
June 20-22, 2025
Greenfield MA
The Green River Festival is already TODAY! We at LMNR are timely as always in previewing this venerable festival. The GRF returns to the Franklin County Fairgrounds in Greenfield, MA on June 20, 21, and 22 for its 39th year. This is the second year now that promoter DSP Shows will run the festival. Gates open at 3pm today and 11am on Saturday and Sunday. Music runs from 4pm-10:30pm on Friday, 12pm-10:30pm on Saturday and 12pm-8:30pm on Sunday. The full music schedule is now available HERE!
Courtney Barnett, Kevin Morby, Waxahatchee, Mt. Joy, Chicha Libre, Balthvs, Winterpills, Kimaya Diggs, Mark Mulcahy, Thus Love, Funky Dawgz Brass Band, Danielle Ponder, and lots more join this year’s lineup. Many of these bands are GRF alums and we at LMNR are excited to see Western Mass’ diverse musical community represented in this lineup with several of these acts taking place at the Roundhouse stage, an indoor venue showcasing local talent.
Free shuttle buses are available from Hawks & Reed Performing Arts Center (289 Main St.) in the center of Greenfield. Shuttles will begin running one hour before gates open each day. This means shuttles begin at 2 pm on Friday and 10 am on Saturday and Sunday. Shuttles will continue to operate for one hour after the festival ends. Shuttles are a quick 5 minute ride each way. Our drivers will bring you near the main entrance to the festival and deliver you back to Hawks & Reed. Shuttles run on Friday from 2pm-11:30pm, on Saturday from 10am-11:30pm and on Sunday from 10am-9:30pm.
All times are subject to change. If you’re attending the 2025 festival, please sign up HERE to receive text updates throughout the weekend.
Biking to the festival is also greatly encouraged! A FREE bike valet service will be available next to the main entrance, at the corner of Wisdom Way and Petty Plain Rd. The festival is a short distance from downtown Greenfield, and there’s a beautiful new bike path leading to Wisdom Way. Be sure to use reflective gear and light your bike well for the ride home in the dark!
