ZIONTIFIC has been hard at work scouring the world to provide attendees with the most energetic, inspirational, educational and uplifting musical experience to kick off their summer right. Each and every one of the bands on the line-up has a positive message to spread. With their unique musical focus in the regional festival scene being on reggae and conscious hip-hop, ZIONTIFIC has the reputation of booking acts that won’t be seen on most other festival schedules. From regional up-and-comers to international acts, this year’s line-up is bound to keep everyone movin’ and groovin’ for all 3 days and nights.

To set the 5th annual off with a bang, ZIONTIFIC expanded out of their typical New England radius. New additions to the family this year include: Rootz Underground (JAMAICA)  •  TreeHouse! (SC)  •  Sun-Dried Vibes (SC)  •  Signal Fire (NC)  •  Lucid (NY)  •  Kings & Comrades (PA)  •  Reef’d (PA)  •  William Thompson Funk Experiment (MA)  •  The Equalites (MA)  •  Kroma Kode (MA)  •  Fulah (FL/MA)  •  ReBelle (MA)  •  Heirloom Seeds (VT)…

Previous acts that have become part of the family and are back by popular demand are:  The Movement  •  The Alchemystics  •  Roots of Creation  •  Sophistafunk  •  Bujak Live  •  Political Animals  •  Danny Pease & The Regulators  •  I Anbassa  •  The Juicy Grapes  •  Joey Batts & Them  •  The Feel Goods  •  Lynguistic Civilians  •  The Romano Project  •  Rebel Alliance  •  Rhythmic Circus  •  Cheatcode  •  Harsh Armadillo  •  Rhythm Inc  •  DJ Benny Black  •  The Yeti  •  DJ Live! ft. special guest  •  I-ganic Soundsystem  •  Icculus…ZIONTIFIC_Sophistafunk_Amanda Beckwith Photog

Bujak Live will once again be producing ZIONTIFIC’s Silent Disco for the fourth year in a row. Each night after the Main Stage ends, night owls can boogie their way on over to the Silent Disco deck, slap on a pair of headphones and dance the night away without bothering the early risers and children. Plenty of headphones will be available.

In addition to the Main Stage acts and Silent Disco Performances, ZIONTIFIC is bringing back their ELEMENTAL PHILOSOPHY 101 Lessons throughout the weekend. Learn about the core elements of Hip-Hop from some of the best in the region. Emceeing, DJing, Beatboxing, Break dancing, Graffiti art, Knowledge, Culture and Understanding – performances by:  Honeycomb  •  DJ Benny Black  •  Blue Collar  •  DJ NEB  •  Ryan Augustus  •  Breaks by Poptart and Moses, and more.

ZIONTIFIC is preparing in advance in the case of a sell out. They already announced back in November that the 2 day / 2 night tickets and discounted adolescent ticket rates will not be available this year. More ticketing changes will be announced as the fest draws near. However ZIONTIFIC plans to put a cap on tickets regardless to retain the intimate family atmosphere. Kids 11 and under will still be free.ZIONTIFIC_Alchemystics_Aperture to Pixels Photog

Known in the regional festival circuit as going above and beyond on their VIP/Artist experience and hospitality. This year, ZIONTIFIC decided to expand it a little and invite a VERY LIMITED NUMBER of their extended ZTFam to partake in the backstage festivities. Some VIP perks and amenities include:  VIP/Artist Lounge Access  •  VIP Viewing Area  •  Breakfast (Sat & Sun by their Artist Hospitality Chefs)  •  Dinner (Fri, Sat & Sun by their Artist Hospitality Chefs)  •  Exclusive Artist Beer Garden Access (21+)  •  Swag Bag (including $25 Ziontific merch gift certificate, band goodies, massage voucher for their on-site Massage Therapist, festival poster, etc)  •  and the experience of a lifetime! VIP upgrades can be purchased through the ZIONTIFIC website only.

Never a dull moment with all of the amenities ZIONTIFIC has in store.

The adventurous types can get their fill on the 4-6 hour River Tubing runs. Hop in the water right from the festival grounds and be whisked away by the current of the glistening Tweed River. There are many gorgeous spots along the river run to pull off onto the river bank, relax on a rock or woods line and enjoy the aesthetic beauty of Vermont. Tubes will be available for rent on-site through Tweed River Tubing for $16 + tax. A life jacket and shuttle back to Ziontific are included with a tube rental.

A Connecticut based group, The Conduit, is a vital element in the ZTFam. Together, they’ve built a Wellness Village experience that has proven to change lives. Becoming involved in some of the workshops will take your mind, body and soul on a spiritual journey. Workshops include but are not limited to: River Tai Chi, various Yoga classes, Spoken Word/Poetry Circle, Labyrinth Meditation, Partners Thai Massage, All levels Hoop Dance and tricks, Sound Meditation Concerts and so many more will help induce your relaxed state. All are inclusive with a festival ticket.

The kidZone at ZIONTIFIC hosts more activities than most summer camps, all packed into one weekend. The excitement never ends with favorites such as Mask Making, Dreamcatcher History and Crafting, Field Day Games, River Rock Painting, Hula Hoop Lessons / Designing and Face Painting. Many sons, daughters and dads were disappointed the past two years when the Summer Solstice didn’t fall on Father’s Day weekend as it had in the first couple years of the event. In June 2015, the planets will align for the ZTFam once again making way for a dual celebration. Some Father’s Day surprises are in the works for the kids and their dads this year.

Cosmic Karma Fire will have everything in flames again in some way, shape or form. Solo, duo, and group choreography combined with theatrics, costumes, and comedic acts including:  BMX fire stunts, acrobatics – similar to acro yoga but with partner balance postures, jump ropes, nunchakus, swords, juggling, hula-hoops (single, double, and triple), as well as mini hoops and even a gyrodoop, belly dancing, palm torches, fire fans, levitation wands, batons, rope-dart, meteors, orbs, poi, fire eating and breathing, fire stilts and much ZIONTIFIC_IAnbassa_Amanda Beckwith Photog.jpgmore.

Ziontific dedicates just as much energy to the awareness aspect of the festival as they do the music and amenities. They want people to come out for a weekend of fun and relaxation, but also hope that everyone will take a little something away with them that they can use to make the world a cleaner, better place. In partnering with several non-profits including Mother Nature’s Army, Strangers Helping Strangers and The Root Center, attendees learn how to protect our planet as well as their own body. This year, ZIONTIFIC and Strangers Helping Strangers have set a goal to double the amount of donations the food drive collected last year. The largest donations of non-perishables, baby and hygiene products will receive prizes to help attain the goal of 220 lbs.

Whether you prefer a slightly private wooded campsite or a field spot in the middle of the action, you will feel right at home with your newfound ZIONTIFIC Family.
