John Kadlecik is heading out for a wide variety of touring this winter. This week he sets out to the west to do solo Acousti’Lectric appearances in UT, AZ, NM and Hawaii for his first official shows there as a solo artist. From there a return to the east coast for a slate of four shows with Golden Gate Wingmen is on tap at the end of February.
March sees some shows pairing Kadlecik with his old friend Melvin Seals and JGB for at least two shows in the northeast. Getting together with old friends and musician mates is a theme here with shows at the Cap with Phil Lesh and Friends to celebrate the bassist’s birthday in the middle of March.
And a long time goal of visiting New Orleans during Jazzfest will be realized now that Kadlecik has been added to the personnel lineup for the Dead Feat shows at Republic at the end of April. For more information on that show visit CEG Music.
The Solo Acousti’Lectric shows give Kadlecik an opportunity to showcase his interests and talents all on his own and explore his writing and voice as an artist. In addition to the material you may expect you get material covering a wide range of artists and material that Kadlecik has written over the last couple of decades.
