In late 2014 Golden Gate Wingmen, a super group of sorts was formed for one show at Terrapin Crossroads while John Kadlecik was touring the West Coast. Consisting of Kadlecik on guitar and vocals, Reed Mathis on bass and vocals, Jay Lane on drums and Jeff Chimenti on keyboards, nobody knew that the band would last past the first sold out show at Terrapin on a random Wednesday night in November of 2014. But then came two shows for New Year’s in Denver, and a tour of the West in February 2015, and then national touring throughout the year.
Dozens of tour dates in the year ended with a string of big shows in the East and Chimenti joined Dead and Company, Reed Mathis toured extensively with Billy and the Kids and Tea Leaf Green, all three guys played shows with Kimock, and Kadlecik toured as the John Kadlecik Band. Rumors were that the Wingmen were grounded.

March 25 2016 will be at the Hamilton in Washington DC for the first ever appearance in the nation’s capital for this band.
