Ocoee means the land where the Passion Flower (Maypop) grows. Used for the treatment of anxiety, depression and pain, and as a source of food, plus so much more by the natives of the region. The Maypop Music & Arts Festival is more than just another music festival. The promoters of the festival will be donating fifteen percent of proceeds from ticket sales to People Helping People, a local non-profit that works with anyone in need. From food, to clothing, maybe just a talk, and even free clothes. Maypop has also partnered with Aid A Veteran, based out of Cleveland Tennessee and the Arbor Day Foundation by donating $1 of every ticket to help plant some trees. The festival will be on June 29th -July 1st  outside the Beautiful Ocoee, TN  at Camp Reggae 204 Calvender RD Turtletown, TN 37391 .
