Debbie Deane played at Bar chord in Brooklyn, NY on Wednesday night, August 1, the anniversary of the birth of Mr Jerome Garcia. Debbie is a singer song writer with a beautiful voice and a beautiful heart. She played her own original material Finally Free, Grove House, Yesterdays and Hit the Rewind from her first two albums. They are great tunes! She is about writing great songs and having a funky groove of the bass being exemplified bt her husband Jim Whitney. Diego Voglino skillfully provided the drumming. A Debbie Deane Concert is an event. Her shows are what brings together the community. She is a talented keyboardist and a delight to listen to. Her shows are some of the most fun shows you will see all year round.   https://youtu.be/CM0gzUeUJKQ?t=12   Debbie did a tribute to Jerry Garcia and sang They Love Each Other. It was beautiful. I sang along feeling thrilled to be experiencing such a great tune live. She played Meet Me In the Morning by Bob Dylan from Blood on the Tracks. She dedicated it to me. It was far out. She had us dancing and singing too. She even called for the audience to sing in a call and response during Grove House singing I wanna Give you my love. We sang it right back to her. She has a jazzy, bluesy roots rock music going on. I definitely want to catch the show again real soon. Check out her cds, Hit the Rewind and Grove House and see her live if you get the chance.
