Joe Jackson and his powerhouse band delivered an unforgettable performance last night at the State Theatre in New Brunswick, NJ.

On this current tour, Jack is backed by Teddy Kumpel (guitar), Graham Maby (bass), Doug Yowell (drums), and Felipe Fournier (percussion), Jackson has assembled a world-class lineup capable of totally nailing his complex, often idiosyncratic arrangements.

Jackson’s vocals and keyboard work were razor-sharp, driving a seamless setlist that never lost momentum. Check out this clip of “Target” from the ‘Night and Day’ album—one of my all-time favorites.
