June 14 2026 Brighton Music Hall Boston MA by A Rood Photography

Robyn Hitchcock returned to the Boston area as he continued his ‘Live and Electric- Full Band Show’ tour. Lately, Robyn has been touring solo but this time he’s joined by Rick Lollar and Jeremy Fetzer on guitars, Todd Bolden on bass and Patrick Berkery on drums. With this talented set of musicians, Robyn was able to perform a handful of songs from his early days with The Soft Boys and included Kingdom of Love, Rock n Roll Toilet, Queen of Eyes (with his wife, Emma) and I Wanna Destroy you.

As for the fan favorites, we were graced with Balloon Man, Globe of Frogs, a cover of I’m Waiting for the Man, Pink Floyd’s See Emily Play, Dylan’s All Along the Watchtower and the closer where Robyn sings (with audience help) A Day in the Life by The Beatles, not on stage but unplugged in the middle of the crowd.

Robyn will be back in Boston on July 27th at Porter Square Books as he celebrates the release of his latest memoir, Stranded in the Future.
