Waterparks kicked off their A Night Out On Earth Tour in San Francisco on October 25th. By Justine Willard

The Regency Ballroom welcomed Waterparks as they performed the first song and title track off their most recent album Greatest Hits to begin the night. The band thought it was fitting that San Francisco was the first stop on their tour since it was also the last city they played in before the pandemic. The crowd was so excited that they were jumping up and down throughout the show, so much so that you could feel the floor shake.

Although most of the songs they played were from their most recent album, they also played a couple of songs from Fandom, Entertainment, and their debut, Double Dare. Each band member was giving it their all on stage, and you could see how much they missed performing live. Lead singer Awsten Knight could barely stay in the same spot for more than a second because he was so excited and filled with abundant energy.

The final song Waterparks performed to close out their 17 song set was “You’d Be Paranoid Too (If Everyone Was Out To Get You),” another song from Greatest Hits. But alas, the night was not over just yet as Waterparks returned for an encore and performed three more songs, “Turbulent,” “Snow Globe,” and “See You In The Future.”

The tour will end in Los Angeles on December 6th, so you still have time to see them when they come to a city near you. It’s a performance you definitely will not regret.  See the full list of tour dates below.
