HARVARD, MA: New England’s reggae sensation, Duppy Conquerors, sign on to headline the 6th Annual Bravehearts – Friends of Dylan Connelly Ride & Family Day in scenic Harvard, MA on Saturday, July 14, 2018. The band was chosen for its unique dedication to the sound and spirit of Bob Marley and for its fit to the family and community centered mission of the Bravehearts. The Bravehearts are a community-based, all-volunteer organization established by friends and family of Dylan Connelly, a revered “Braveheart” who lost his life to brain cancer at the age of 30, leaving behind his wife, their three children, and scores of friends and family. An avid cyclist and outdoor enthusiast, Dylan was known for his extreme physical and mental toughness, making him truly worthy of the name “Braveheart.” In Dylan’s spirit, The Bravehearts invite all comers to get out, ride hard, have fun, and listen to music with friends and family! Sign up for the Braveheart 50-mile, 25-mile, or kids course, or show up without a bike and just hang out and enjoy the lawn games, live music, great food, kid’s activities, and phenomenal people who will be gathered at Harvard’s Fruitlands Museum on Saturday, July 14. All proceeds from the 6th Annual Bravehearts Ride & Family Day benefit Camp Sunshine, a unique retreat on Sebago Lake in Maine that enables hope and promotes joy for children with life threatening illnesses and their families. Learn more, register to ride, sign on as a sponsor, or simply give to the cause online at braveheartsfodc.com.
