Phish fans have the annual holiday run to look forward to, but in early 2018 will need to satisfy themselves with an acoustic tour by front man Trey Anastasio.  The announced tour dates will provide fans an opportunity for a more intimate look at the guitarist and his talents. The current itinerary is below, with more dates to be announced. Tickets will be available through a real time pre-sale beginning November 28 at 12pm ET and ending Thursday, November 30 at 5pm ET. General on-sale will begin this Friday, December 1 at 10am ET. This year, 2017, Anastasio did his first set of unplugged performances.  The material performed spanned Anastasio’s entire career and focused on mainly original material, with a variety of choice covers sprinkled throughout the sets.  Below the tour dates listing we’ll put sample set lists from prior acoustic shows. This entire show was performed by Trey solo acoustic and featured the first acoustic performances of “Shade,” “Tide Turns,” Rubberneck Lions,” “The Lizards,” and “Rock ‘n’ Roll Suicide.” Rubberneck Lions” had not been played by any member of Phish since Trey’s performance in Oysterhead on June 16, 2006. Trey dedicated “Wading” to Tom Marshall and “Summer of ’89” to his wife Sue, both of who were in the audience.
