March 25, 2017 the Sounds of the Sea (SOS) Festival Cruise will set sail from Port Miami Florida for a Western Caribbean adventure aboard the MSC Divina. Ports of Call include Ocho Rios Jamaica, George Town Cayman Islands, Cozumel Mexico and Nassau in the Bahamas.  This unique cruise will feature Max Creek, Donna the Buffalo, and the Adam Ezra Group.  The beautiful MSC Divina has been chosen as a stunning ship offering the best of cutting-edge technology, the comfort you’d expect in the most ultramodern and sophisticated luxuries with a full itinerary of inspiring destinations.  Do it all or do nothing!

What’s on board the MSC Divina? Wine, Food for Foodies, Gambling Galore, Dazzling Entertainment, the Fabulous Aurea Spa and Fitness with a Flair.  All this while enjoying live concerts throughout the ship. The Bands will be featured in Private concerts at the Spectacular Pantheon Theater and the Black & White Lounge. Day time and late night gigs will also be on the Main Pool Deck and the Golden Jazz Bar.  Endless entertainment and activites throughout the week are available.  All SOS guests will be treated to and Exclusive Open Bar Welcome Party with the Bands, VIP Laminate, all live concerts, Unlimited dining in the buffet restaurants, Daily 3-course sit-down meals and ultimately a 7-night cruise that includes 4 days at ports, 3 days at sea.

Unique in each of their own way but interestingly enough, fans cross the boarders between all 3 of the SOS major line-up bands.  The cross-pollination sets the cruise up for a destination for like-minded people.  People who share the love of music, the camaraderie of being a huge fan and ready for a sun filled weeklong party.

Max Creek

In those rare instances that a band reaches its fourth decade, it’s usually a result of stardom. It’s easy enough to keep things together when each member has a jet and techs on retainer and the world tour rolls around every few years. But that’s not how Max Creek has done it. In 45+ years Max Creek has been small, big, regionally-huge, medium, and any other size one can think of; they’ve never graced the cover of Rolling Stone, but you’d be hard pressed to find a music fan in the Northeast that hasn’t heard of them.

Everybody who knows John Rider, bassist for Max Creek, knows that he is a pirate at heart.  So we know that he will be inspired musically on this cruise!

Donna the Buffalo

One of the most dynamic and determined bands continuously touring America since 1989, Donna the Buffalo has created a community environment at their shows through their distinctive, groove-heavy, and danceable music. Donna the Buffalo is a band for the people that is accessible, positive, and memorable. With roots in old time fiddle music that evolved into a soulful electric American mix infused with elements of cajun/ zydeco, rock, folk, reggae, and country, Donna’s music often contains social and moral responsibility as core beliefs, and they are just simply fun to get out and celebrate life with.

Adam Ezra Group

Boston native Adam Ezra has been making music for 15 years now. The Group has grown gradually from what was originally a solo, acoustic act, now touring with 6 musicians on stage including Ezra on vocals and guitar, Corinna Smith on fiddle, Turtle on hand percussion, Josh Gold on keys, Francis Hickey on bass, and Alex Martin on drums. Their performances have become renowned for their energy and uniqueness, drawing from Ezra’s prolific songwriting catalog. The band members themselves never know what they’re going to play until the get on stage, and it’s not unusual to find them wielding trash can lids, accordions, banjos, spoons, 2×4’s and other unexpected implements over the course of and AEG set.

The Sounds of the Sea Festival Cruise is an all inclusive musical cruise; the price of cabins includes meals for the week, concerts for the week and full access to the many facets of the MSC Divina.  Up to 4 people per cabin offer price breaks at all levels.
