Since the release of his new full length album “Keith Kenny – LIVE”, Kenny has caught attention from one of his guitar hero’s, Mickey Melchiondo a.k.a. Dean Ween. Melchiondo first discovered Kenny’s “one-man-band” show at his favorite local venue; John & Peter’s in New Hope, PA and invited him to be a part of the weekly jam session called “The Invitational” every Wednesday. People from all over the country attend “The Invitational” to see their idols up close and personal and it has brought Kenny some newfound recognition with WEEN fans. As WEEN gears up for more tour dates in September, Kenny will also be taking his solo show on the road to continue his “Big Red Suitcase Tour” on the West Coast.
Kenny’s “Big Red Suitcase Tour” has taken him to over 80 U.S. cities and beyond over the past few years. The most recent addition to his constant tour schedule has been a monthly residency at the House of Blues in Las Vegas which will be a part of this west coast run. It has been an exciting time for Kenny as he is seeing new heights to his live performances and getting some stage time with some of his long time luminaries.
