Matrix Music Festival is a one of a kind Annual 3-Day Camping Music Festival that will be held July 29-31 2016 at Mt. Jefferson Ski Resort, Lee, Maine. Home of Matrix Pavilion, the first concert venue to have the option to stay and camp overnight at all of their concerts all Summer.
Headlining the festival is Colorado Acoustic Rock/Bluegrass band the Yonder Mountain String Band. For nearly 17 years, Yonder Mountain String Band has redefined bluegrass music, expanding the traditional acoustic genre beyond its previously established boundaries by steadily pushing the envelope into the realms of rock n’ roll and 
improvisation. YMSB has always played music of their own design, in the process attracting a devout coterie of fans that often resembles a tight knit family on an epic musical journey as Yonder traverses the country with an ever-rigorous tour schedule. Yonder is a quintessential ensemble honing its craft night after night on the road, and the fans are there to experience it in real time. The result is music that doesn’t stand still, it’s always progressing and breaking unprecedented ground.
Some other artists that are headlining include the Montreal-based rock and roll group the Sam Roberts Band, recently Billboard chart’s #1 Reggae band Roots of Creation (out of New Hampshire), Georgia’s jamband/funk/soul player Zach Deputy, Maine’s seven-piece pop rock band Rustic Overtones and hard rock band Prospect Hill (out of Massachusetts).
As can be told by just the list of headliners, the festival plays host to all kinds of music: Rock, Jam Bands, EDM, Country, Bluegrass. In all, 45 Artists are scheduled to perform. The rest of the lineup includes: Cheat Codes, Spose, DJ Icculus & Friends, Paranoid Social Club, The Alchemystics, Adam Ezra Group, Lovewhip, Sean Chambers Band, SeepeopleS, Tackling Triumph, Charlie Keating Band, The Joe Burke 2 Handed Experience Live, Murcielago, Five Of The Eyes, Weakened Friends, Forget Forget, Robby Simpson, Chris Ross and The North, Micromasse, Endless Jags, Jeff Beam, Kenya Hall Band, Dominic And The Lucid, Heavy America, Sea For Miles, Sarah Blacker Featuring Aaron Katz of Percy Hill, Shaun Mykal , Wyld Lyfe, Kg Freeze, Jaw Gems, They Called Me Legion, DJ Doradoe, John Kyle, Little Peters Words Of Wisdom, The Hornitz, and The Change up.

Great views of Mount Katahdin can be viewed in the distance, the largest mountain in Maine. Enjoy these unique and beautiful surroundings, with amazing views and wooded camping included on the 160 acre resort.
There will be many vendors who will be offering unique goods and delicious food. Slip And Slide, Yoga, Silent Disco, Arts And Crafts and Water Painting, Disc Golf, Cornhole, and a community bonfire near the Lodge are just some of the additional activities that will keep the whole family entertained.
