Moon Hooch started around 10 and didn’t take a single break until they poured out as much hot horn energy as three dudes possibly could. The crowd loved every second of it. Great stage presence, high energy, and hardcore talent. One guy plays Bass Sax and the other guy plays regular Sax, then there’s a drummer and a synth board(the Sax guys use this) that pumps out a lot of bass. The room was full, and the band got the crowd into it with audience participation. At one point, the Bass Sax player took a street cone and commenced to play through Sax—>Street Cone—->>Mic—>>>crazy audience.
There was a break between Moon Hooch and New Mastersounds, and plenty of time for mingling and catching up. The New Mastersounds are a four piece powerhouse from England. Bass, Drums, Guitar, and Keyboard(Organ) players, each was top notch and kept the funk going throughout the rest of the night.
