The Joe Marcinek Band comes to Denver, CO for a three-day run of all-star shows. First, The Joe Marcinek Band comes to Ft Collins, CO for a show at Hodi’s Half Note on Thursday, May 5th. Joe will be joined by a special line-up, including Marty Sammon of Buddy Guy, Josh Fairman of Kinetix, and George Horn of Analog Son. Funk/jazz ensemble, Home Fried Boogaloo, opens. Then, on Friday May 6th and Saturday May 7th they’ll be at Quixotes in Denver. These shows will see two special line-ups: on Friday with Dave Watts of the Motet, Emily Clark, Eric Luba of Analog Son and Josh Fariman of Kinetix, and on Saturday with Marty Sammon of Buddy Guy, Josh Fairman of Kinetix and George Horn of Analog Son.
Recently, the Joe Marcinek Band performed for former president Bill Clinton’s Clinton Global Initiative at the Field Museum in Chicago. The group has featured many prominent guests including Kris Myers (Umphreys McGee), Bernie Worrell, Jason Hann (String Cheese Incident / EOTO), Erik “Jesus” Coomes (Lettuce), Jennifer Hartswick and Natalie Cressman (Trey Anastasio Band), Mike Greenfield (Lotus), Borham Lee (Break Science), Steve Molitz (Phil Lesh & Friends / Particle) Joey Porter (The Motet / Juno What), Fareed Haque, Scott Metzger, Nate Werth (Snarky Puppy) Garrett Sayers (The Motet) Allie Kral (Yonder Mountain String Band), Freekbass, Vinnie Amico and Jim Loughlin (moe.) and more!

Marty Sammon shared the stage with Otis Rush for five years until he received the call to tour the world and perform with Blues legend and Rock and
Josh Fairman plays bass for the rock/pop, Electro/funk group Kinetix. Based out of Denver, CO, Kinetix is known for their outrageous high-energy shows blending party rock, funk, pop, hip hop and live electronica. George Horn and Eric Luba of Analog Son also join the Joe Marcinek Band. At the core of Analog Son’s many wild creations lies funk mavens Jordan Linit and Josh Fairman, two pioneers of the futuristic funk sound. Hailing from Denver, CO, Analog Son has had great success recruiting top-notch musicians for their countless collaborations.
Dave Watts plays drums for the Denver funk band The Motet. The Motet is a world-class improvisational funk band that has dedicated more than a decade to the healing powers of funky dance music. Although the early years of the band saw a constantly revolving cast of musicians, the most recent incarnation has been touring the country for the last several years developing a new and unique style with roots in funk, Afrobeat, disco, electronic music, and soul.
