In fact, the band just doesn’t seem to want to rest period, quickly releasing their fifth full-length album Creatures in 2015 and taking to the road again without delay. They can easily be described as a hardworking, hard-nosed troupe content with setting fire to every stage they find themselves playing coast to coast.
Produced by John Ryan (STYX, Lynyrd Skynyrd), Creatures will give you a great picture of where this band is headed. It is an extension of the southern California indie/rock music scene that made many bands famous in the 90s, adding their own element that will surely leave you hooked. It’s as if Jane’s Addiction crashed into the White Rabbits, while Incubus was left to pick up the pieces.
The album’s opener, “Chicago”, is a rocker that easily leads you into an accepting head-bob and just escalates. From there the album doesn’t quit.

They have received three nominations for the 2016 Rockwired Readers Poll Awards for “Best Band”, “Best Recording (LP)”, and “Best Music Video” and are looking forward to continuing their success in 2016. If I’ve learned anything from this band it is that they are machines-continuously pumping out new material. I’m sure the touring won’t cease either. Be on the lookout for more dates early in 2016.
ACIDIC will be capping off their rigorous year with a giant New Year’s Eve party on December 31. They’ll be rocking The Lodge Sports Bar in Pinetop Lakeside, AZ.
