MASON, NH — After a long four year battle with the Town of Mason, Marty’s Driving Range will finally host its first major concert on their outdoor stage to close out their summer season on Friday, September 21st. Headlining the concert will be Badfish – A tribute to Sublime (Providence, RI). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WdvxoTQkLuQ Just announced, nationally touring reggae-rock band, Roots of Creation (New Ipswich, NH) will also be on the show, along with Hug the Dog (Peterborough, NH) and Brother Seamus (Mason, NH). Lights and sound will be provided by UpStream Sound & More. After receiving a lot of flak from the town at the end of their summer music series in 2014, father and daughter owners, Marty and Nicole Ruggiero went through a tedious legal battle in order to secure approval to host live music events at their venue. “After a long four years, we couldn’t be more excited to break our stage in again,” said Nicole Ruggiero. This 1,000 capacity outdoor venue located in beautiful south western New Hampshire, will be an intimate setting for concert attendees to see Badfish and Roots of Creation (RoC) together and the perfect way for everyone to say goodbye to summer. “I feel like we owe a big concert to our fans! They’ve all been so incredibly supportive and patient during our journey. They deserve the very best ‘welcome back’ to The Range that we can deliver! We wouldn’t be here without them, and it’s basically just time to celebrate,” said Ruggiero. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kD_N4xkVcUs All Ages are welcome to come and enjoy outdoor live music, seafood, burgers, hot dogs, fries, ice cream, and more!
