From the video channel of Deadheadland films:

The John Kadlecik Band is in the middle of a two-night run at the Terrapin Crossroads and on December 13th, Bob Weir sat in with the band.  John Kadlecik Band on this run is Kadlecik (Golden Gate Wingmen,  Dark Star, Furthur) on guitar and vocals, Jay Lane (Primus, Furthur, Ratdog) on drums and microphone, Todd Stoops (Raq, Kung Fu) on keys and Robin Sylvester on bass (Ratdog and many other projects in his historic career.)

Kadlecik’s holiday run continues tonight at Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, CA.  Get your tickets for tonight’s show here. He will then join Melvin Seals and JGB in Auburn, CA on Saturday for the fifth installment of a Very Jerry Christmas.  TICKETS are available here for that event. FB EVENT Kadlecik will do a solo Acousti’Lectric set and then likely will join his friends as they perform the music of the Jerry Garcia Band.

Weir sat in with JKB for his blues classic Walkin Blues, followed by the Kadlecik voiced Bertha, with Weir contributing lead vocals as well, as the two former band mates traded lyrics back and forth.  The Weir sit in continued with an unexpected turn in the form of a take on The Maker by Canadian producer and song writer Daniel Lanois.  Weir continued with West LA Fadeaway, Throwing Stones, and Touch of Grey.

An east coast run for John Kadlecik Band includes three nights to end 2017.  That run will be Jay Lane and Kadlecik and Sylvester, with Benjie Porecki on keyboards.

Kadlecik has been busy lately with a recent two night run with Everyone Orchestra, a run with Oteil Burbridge and Friends, his solo Acousti’Lectric shows, and travels all over the Globe.  Rumors of a 2018 Golden Gate Wingmen return abound.  The rare appearing band Fellowship of the Wing which includes Stoops, Lane, Kadlecik and bassist / composer / vocalist Reed Mathis is scheduled for the Gem n Jam festival in Tucson AZ at the end of January.

This is not the first time that Weir has sat in with the John Kadlecik Band.  Back on April 25, 2016 he sat in with the band who at that time were John Kadlecik, Klyph Black, Nathan Graham and Waynard Scheller on keys.  Check out the review of that show here including videos by Adrienne Monique.
