Without a doubt, the ‘Party’ is still raging on, and Wednesday night at the Fonda Theater, Andrew W.K. delivered his fist-pumping, crowd-surfing, style of driving rock music to the amped-up Los Angeles audience. This tour featured 5 tracks off his latest release, ‘You’re Not Alone’ and a slew of hits including, ‘I get Wet’, ‘Never Let Down’, and ‘Ready to Die’ where a fan from the audience crowd surfed to the front, jumped on stage and proceeded to play Andrew’s Piano (and played really well). Andrew and everyone else cheered him on. Thankfully, Security was pretty chill and didn’t drag the fan off the stage.

Backing Andrew up on the tour were THREE lead guitarists, (Erik Payne, Dave Pino and Amanda Lepre) who all took turns at solos and playing to the fans delight and Gregg Roberts and the birthday boy, Clark Danger on drums. Andrew, actually took a moment during the show to acknowledge his special day! Another highlight was Andrew donning a’new-to-us’ Taco guitar (replacing his popular Pizza guitar) and performed a moving solo piece by himself. The evening’s never-ending encore entailed four songs: ‘Violent Life’, ‘It’s Time to Party’, ‘Pushing Drugs’ and everyone’s favorite anthem, (which included a 93 second countdown!) ‘Party Hard’. Set list: The Power of Partying Music Is Worth Living For Ever Again Take It Off Ready to Die She Is Beautiful Tear It Up You Will Remember Tonight Never Let Down We Want Fun Break the Curse I Get Wet You’re Not Alone Encore: Violent Life It’s Time to Party Pushing Drugs Party Hard (with 93 second countdown)
